B. Alexandra Szerlip
Visual Artist
B. Alexandra Szerlip was a two-time National Endowment for the Arts fellow, a two-time Yaddo fellow, a MacDowell fellow, and a Villa Lena (Tuscany) fellow.
Her biography, The Man Who Designed The Future: Norman Bel Geddes & the Invention of 20th Century America (Melville House, NY./London) was voted "One of the Top Ten Art Books of 2017" by the American Library. Association. Her paintings tend to focus on mortality and anonymity with, as a curator friend put it, "a gonzo edge."
